Courier Integration
Last updated: 2/24/2026
Courier integrations let you connect third-party shipping carriers directly to ClickNShip. Once connected, you can book shipments, track parcels, and manage returns — all from one place.
Overview
Each integration stores a set of API credentials specific to your courier account. You can have multiple integrations per courier — useful when running different warehouses or business units under separate courier accounts.
Adding a New Integration
Click Add New Integration in the toolbar to open the setup wizard. The wizard walks you through three steps:
- Select your courier from the supported list.
- Enter your API credentials (account ID, API key, secret, etc.) as provided by your courier.
- Set your dispatch address (pickup location) and return address.
API credentials are courier-specific. Log in to your courier's merchant portal to find your account ID and API key before starting the wizard.
Managing Integrations
The integrations table shows all your connected couriers. From here you can:
- Toggle active/inactive — use the switch in each row to enable or disable an integration without deleting it.
- Edit credentials — click the pencil icon to update API keys, addresses, or the integration name.
- Filter & search — use the column filters to find integrations by name, courier, or status.
Dispatch & Return Addresses
Each integration has two address fields:
- Dispatch Address — where the courier will collect parcels for outbound shipments.
- Return Address — where failed deliveries and returns will be sent back to.
Make sure your addresses match what is registered with the courier exactly. Mismatched addresses can cause booking failures or delayed pickups.
Troubleshooting
Authentication errors when booking
Double-check your API key and account ID. Keys are sometimes environment-specific (sandbox vs. production) — make sure you are using production credentials.
Integration shows as Inactive
Use the toggle switch in the table row to activate it. An integration must be active to be selectable when booking a shipment.
